Dr. Nevin is a post-doctoral fellow who graduated from Nova Southeastern University (NSU) in Ft. Lauderdale, FL with a focus in health psychology. She has treated a range of individuals across the life span experiencing acute/chronic psychological and health conditions. Her practicum training includes working with cancer patients at Memorial Cancer Institute and treating children and adolescents with a trauma history at NSU Psychological Services Center. She completed her pre-doctoral internship training as a Behavioral Health Consultant at Family
Medical Care Center located in Springfield, MO.

 

Dr. Nevin values a person-centered approach to evaluation and treatment; she encourages collaboration throughout the process, and mindfully chooses evidence-based interventions that are patient-tailored. Areas of clinical focus include anxiety, depression, and psycho-oncology.
